Position Overview

As a front-end Web Developer at Imagine you’ll be supporting our client services marketing team to develop and maintain our clients branded websites, micro-sites and interactive experiences for our clients, prospects and users. You will work closely with our client Services marketing team and designers to develop new and innovative ways to deliver our campaigns using the latest technologies and methods. This position will require a detail-oriented person that can manage projects from inception to creation to deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with developers, designers and marketers to build out new features on clients' website properties as well as the internal Imagine site.
  • Create engaging information architectures and stunning visual design concepts.
  • Implement user experiences and interfaces using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Create standard and reusable visual components and interface elements.
  • Usability and user interface a/b/m testing and refine designs based on outcomes.
  • Hand coding HTML emails when necessary.
  • Cross-browser testing and QA of back end components.

Essential Education, Experience, Skills, and Attributes

  • A strong Computer Science background.
  • BS Degree plus 1+ year experience writing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Solid experience with modern JavaScript and CSS.
  • Deep knowledge of the following front-end layout technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScripts, jQuery.
  • Front end production experience with tasks including PSD slicing, hand-coding. HTML/CSS/Javascript.
  • Understanding of WordPress structure.
  • Ability to migrate wordpress sites and others to the Hubspot COS platform.
  • Understand browser performance and how to prevent problems from arising.
  • Passionate about delivering quality code.
  • Good user-experience instincts and an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current SEO/SEM and social media best practices helpful.
  • Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Able to implement your own designs using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Agile Development Methodology.
